FVS V1.1 | FIBERME VoIP Specialist
  • Q: Do all FIBERME IP PBXs support FRC?
  • A: No. Not all FIBERME IP PBXs support the FRC cloud service. Currently, FRC is supported only on the following models: FCM7105, FCM7115, FCM5600, and FCM-Soft

  • Q: Can I connect a local FCM7115 to a remote Yeastar FXO gateway?
  • A: Yes. You can create a SIP trunk between the local FCM7115 IP PBX and the remote Yeastar FXO gateway to route calls between them.

  • Q: If I connect a FIBERME FCM5600 to a remote Grandstream UCM IP PBX and want to pass 4 concurrent calls between the two systems, do I need to subscribe to both FIBERME FRC and Grandstream GDMS/UCM RemoteConnect?
  • A: No. When you are using a FIBERME IP PBX together with the FIBERME FRC cloud service, you only need an FRC subscription, even if you connect to a third‑party IP PBX such as Grandstream UCM. You are relying on the FIBERME cloud for the secure connectivity, not on the third‑party cloud service, so an additional Grandstream GDMS/UCM RemoteConnect subscription is not required for this scenario.

  • Q: Is the FRC connection secure enough?
  • A: Yes. FIBERME Remote Connect uses secure TLS for SIP signaling and SRTP for media to encrypt and protect your calls against interception and tampering.
