FIBERME Warranty Policy
FIBERME Communications LLC (“FIBERME”) extends its warranty coverage exclusively to our certified partners (“Certified Partners”). We provide our Certified Partners with a minimum of one (1) year of hardware and software warranty from the date of shipment for products purchased directly from FIBERME. This warranty is applicable only to products sold directly to the Certified Partner seeking coverage and is not transferable. Additionally, extended warranty coverage options are available.
End users with warranty inquiries should contact the relevant Certified Partner. Please note that products purchased from unauthorized dealers/sellers or products with removed, defaced, or altered original factory serial numbers will not be covered under the original manufacturer’s warranty.
Certified Partners are companies that purchase FIBERME Products directly from FIBERME and that adhere to FIBERME sales and marketing practices.
Hardware Warranty
FIBERME guarantees to our Certified Partner that all hardware products sold by FIBERME will be devoid of defects in workmanship and materials under normal usage throughout the specified warranty period. Should any product or part exhibit a defect in materials or workmanship, and the Certified Partner notifies FIBERME in writing within the warranty period, FIBERME will, at the Certified Partner’s discretion, and as its sole and exclusive recourse, either repair the defective product or part, or provide an equivalent product or part to substitute the defective item, as long as it meets the published product specifications. If neither option is viable, FIBERME may, at its sole discretion, reimburse the purchase price paid by the Certified Partner for the defective product. Replaced or repaired components, subassemblies, units, and spares are covered under this Policy for a period of ninety (90) days or the remaining duration of the original warranty, whichever is longer.
Software Warranty
FIBERME assures our Certified Partner that the software programs licensed herein will function substantially in accordance with the applicable program specifications throughout the specified warranty period. FIBERME also guarantees the media containing the software against failure and ensures it is free from defects in materials and workmanship. Throughout the warranty period, FIBERME pledges not to intentionally introduce any protection feature into the software designed to impede its use. It is acknowledged that software, by nature, may contain minor errors, and both parties agree that the existence of such errors does not negate its substantial conformance to the applicable program specifications.
It is explicitly recognized, to avoid any ambiguity, that VoIP equipment, in general, may not be entirely secure, and FIBERME assumes no liability under this Policy for any damages suffered, whether by the Certified Partner or any end user, due to intrusions or other activities by unauthorized parties. The warranty does not cover damaged or defective products or parts resulting from improper use, abuse, incorrect installation, mismanagement, normal wear and tear, improper storage, or use of the products outside the specifications outlined in manuals and documentation related to the products, or beyond the carrier’s terms of carriage or other handling requirements.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the warranties and remedies outlined in this agreement are exclusive and replace all other warranties or conditions, whether express or implied, either in reality or by operation of law, statutory or otherwise. These include warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, conformity with description, and non-infringement, all of which are explicitly disclaimed. FIBERME’s warranties outlined herein are applicable solely to Certified Partners of FIBERME Communications LLC., located at 1749 Old Meadow Rd. Suite 401, McLean, VA 22102, USA. Tel: +1 (703) 228-9737, and are not extended to any third parties, which, to avoid any confusion, includes any end users, resellers, agents, or dealers of Certified Partners. FIBERME neither assumes nor authorizes any other party to assume any additional liability in connection with the sale, installation, maintenance, or use of its products, and FIBERME provides no warranty whatsoever for any non-standard products supplied under this agreement.
Warranty Periods:
Hardware warranty for Certified Partners: A minimum of one (1) year warranty period starting from the date of delivery to the Certified Partner. This warranty is applicable exclusively to products purchased directly from FIBERME Communications by the Certified Partner.
Software warranty for Certified Partners: A minimum of one (1) year warranty period starting from the date of delivery to the Certified Partner. This warranty is applicable exclusively to products purchased directly from FIBERME Communications by the Certified Partner.
Extended warranty for Certified Partners: Certified Partners have the option to purchase extended warranties within the original warranty period for a total duration of up to three (3) years. NOTICE TO END USERS: This warranty agreement is strictly between FIBERME and its Certified Partners. Your recourse for warranty coverage solely lies with our Certified Partners and the coverage, if any, that they have agreed to provide to you.
