How to configure SIP Trunk between FIBERME FGX45xx GSM GETAWAY with “CISCO” CUCM


To establish connectivity between “CISCO” CUCM and FIBERME FGX45xx GSM Getaway , it is necessary to enable to “CISCO” CUCM to connect with FIBERME FGX45xx GSM Getaway . This will enable the Extension in “CISCO” CUCM to connect with SIM card and make out call and incoming call in “IVR” or “Hunt group”


CUCM #

Navigate to security -> SIP Trunk security Profile 

Navigate to Non Secure SIP Trunk Profile 

– Make Incoming Transport Type -> TCP-UDP

– Outgoing Transport Type ->UDP

– Enable Accept presence subscription 

– Enable Accept out-of-dialog refer 

– Enable Accept unsolicited notification

– Enable Accept replaces header

Click Save 

Navigate to Class of Control  -> Calling search space

Navigate to E911CSS

Select E911

Click Save 

Navigate to Device Setting -> SIP Profile 

Navigate to Standard SIP Profile

Enable Disable Early Media on 180

Enable OPTION ping ….

Click save

Navigate to Device -> Trunk 

Add New

– Trunk Type -> SIP Trunk 

Click Next

– Device Name: “FXG4508

– Device Pool: Default 

– Call Classification: OnNET

– Calling Search Space: E911CSS

– AAR Calling Search Space: E911CSS

– Connected Party Transformation CSS:  E911CSS

– Enable Use Device Pool Connected Party Transformation CSS

– Called Party Transformation CSS: E911CSS

– Calling Party Transformation CSS: E911CSS

-Destination   IP FGX :192.168.99.67       port: 5060

– SIP Trunk Security Profile: standard  presence group 

– SIP Profile: Standard SIP Profile 

– Rerouting Calling Search Space: E911CSS

Navigate to Route/Hunt -> Route Pattern 

Add New 

– Route Pattern: XXXXXXXXXXX       “You will enter 11 digits here as the mobile numbers.”

– Route Partition: E911

– Description: FXG4508

– Gateway/Route List: FGX4508       “TRUNK name “

– Call Classification: OnNet



In FGX4508  #

Configure the SIP Endpoint #

Navigate to VOIP -> VOIP Endpoint 

add new SIP Endpoint 

– Name: CUCM

– Enable Anonymous

 – Registration: IP Based

– Hostname or IP Address: 192.168.99.201    IP-CUCM

– Port: 5060

– Transport: UDP


Configure Outbound Call Routing #

Navigate to Routing  -> Call Routing Rules 

Add  New Call Routing Rule

Routing Name: From CUCM TO SIM

Call Comes in From: CUCM

Send Call Through: GSM-4

Navigate to advanced 

Caller_Dial_pattern :  Match Pattern     X. 


Configure Inbound Call Routing #

Navigate to Routing  -> Call Routing Rules 

Add  New Call Routing Rule

Routing Name: From SIM TO CUCM

Call Comes in From: GSM-4

Send Call Through: CUCM

Navigate to advanced 

Forward Number : Number of Extension or IVR or Hunt group or …...
